Blah Humbug!

So I was yet again wrong about the Rangers winning in Game 6. I feel bad for them. The Cards did impress me in Game 6. But as an underdog fan, I wanted the Texas Rangers to win their first ever WS. It sucks to lose twice in a row when they made it all the way once again. It's not gonna happen again next year, is it? We'll see. Well that's it folks! No more baseball until SPRING TRAINING! I'm sad to not see a game on...but it's a win when the Philthies and Skankees don't win. Anyway, that's it until there are news about the Winter Meetings and trades, etc.

Rangers vs. Cards World Series

So I was completely wrong about the Tigers and Brewers reaching the WS. I shall predict that the Rangers will win it in Game 6! I want them to win it cuz those Cards...they really did hurt the Mets chances in 2006. I think the teams are definitely deserving of getting to the WS. It's great that the TX Rangers were here back to back years. It's something so hard to accomplish. Now it's their turn to win it. I can't really say who the underdog team is, but I suppose it's the Cards? But then again, they have home field advantage... Either way, the Mets are not in it, and baseball doesn't mean much now until next spring.

Back to Back WINS, for a Mets Fan!

I didn't watch yesterday night's Yankees vs. Tigers Game 5, but I did have GameDay on. I couldn't watch the screen when it was bases loaded...BUT, in the last minutes, I had to. I had to see the reactions and the last out. It was AROD! The other day when I was in a car, I remember the sports radio being on, and they were talking about how everything boils down to AROD being the blame for everything when the YANKS fail! They did and they were left speechless AT home. I credit ANY team that defeats the Yanks because apparently everyone else is an underdog. I slept great, woke up today and anticipated tonight...I didn't really care about the Brewers or DBacks, but I had predicted the Brewers to make the WS. So I really couldn't tell if the Cards were in it to beat the Phils. BUT they DID!!!! The game was on and I watch it in its entirety, well, I had it on, while I was studying for the GMAT. It's amazing that these games all reached Game 5. It means that all these teams deserve to be in the postseason, I'll give them that much. I find it FUNNY that the Phils with 4 Aces, cannot make it passed the 1st round! :) Knocking out the Yanks and the Phils ARE the best presents for a Mets fan. The final matchups are Brewers vs Cards; and Rangers vs. Tigers! I look forward to not having a heartache whoever wins the WS. But as I predict, it shall be a Brewers vs Tigers World Series. For some reason, I think the Brewers will win. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter to me. I can enjoy baseball for the sport that it is and not be anxious that a rival would potentially win.
